Residenza Famiglia Medolago
In 1978, Del Ponte worked on a 19th-Century hunting lodge on the hill of San Vigilio, owned by the Medolago family; while she limited herself to minimal works of conservation on the outside, the interior was completely overhauled. In the kitchen and in the attic bathroom she covered the walls with encaustic drawings, while she designed furniture and decorations, combined with seats by Alvar Aalto and Mies van der Rohe. She even contributed to the choice of artworks, and provided a garden-design project with a pond, a gazebo and several sculptures.
